Weapons Control Simulator

The WCSF comprises of these seperate units:

Classroom Based Training Facilities

The training is accomplished by means of academic tuition, computer based training and practical instruction.

The WCSF was installed by Graham Veale and myself at the King Faisal Air Academy, Riyadh during July and August, 1999 while working for Alenia Marconi Systems, Cwmbran, Wales.
Graham returned to the UK at the end of August 1999 after the system had been installed and functionally tested by the both of us. This left me as the sole hardware engineer on site to carry out Site Acceptance Testing with BAE, the MOD and the RSAF.
Software testing was carried out by Alenia Marconi's Gary Mainwaring.
Mike McGrath carried out functional acceptance of the Voice Communication Sub-system.
When Final Acceptance was signed by the RSAF in November 1999, the commissioning team left leaving me as the sole representative for Alenia Marconi responsible for the 12 month warranty period
